I plan to go into an even bigger rant than before about the latest Bleach episodes as soon as possible (GAH), but I don't have time to do that right now. Because guess what I'm doing?

I'M GETTING READY TO GO SEE  RENT AND ADAM PASCAL AND ANTHONY RAPP AND OH MY GOD OH MY GOD BEST DAY EVEEEEERRRRRR

There are so many other AMAZING things that I need to talk about, too, but for now OH GOD GUYS I'M GOING TO SEE RENT AND ADAM AND ANTHONY AND GAH ♥♥♥ /has no words

I have way too much to say in this entry

(maybe that's because I haven't posted in like A MONTH HOLY GOD)
((I always find it odd that I use this icon...though I don't drink coffee...))

Firstly, my journal failed to acknowledge two f-list birthdays that occurred...a very long time ago, omg. [info]ceestar [info]cyandreams [info]ceestar [info]cyandreams [info]ceestar [info]cyandreams Cee and Cyan, I hope you had awesome birthdays and I'm sorry it took me so long for me to post XD But I didn't want to not say anything. Better late than never, I hope. *flail*

This week's Bleach episode...WAS INSANE. I'm going to need to make a separate entry to ramble fully. And I'm only talking about the last five minutes of the episode!

Next...GUYS, NANOWRIMO STARTS THIS SUNDAY. Ohhh my God. But hey, I actually sorta have a plot, kinda! For now, at least. Ah, this is gonna be great. *sweatdrop.*
Write or Die, here I come.
On a somewhat-related note, I just bought an AlphaSmart off eBay! I can't wait to get it. I think that it will help my NaNo word count immensely, especially when I'm at school.

I had another bookstore shopping spree a couple weeks ago! Mainly, I completed my Sherlock Holmes collection! I now have all of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Holmes stories HEE~~. On the Star Trek front, I found the Wrath of Khan novelization, the novel The Price of The Phoenix, the Mere Anarchy stories (in one volume), and two volumes of the written versions of TOS episodes. I also found the Bleach book, SOULs, at a Waldenbooks store. YAY. At Barnes and Noble I got two books from the classics section: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (and other short stories), and a collection of Edgar Allan Poe poems and stories. Then I raided the language/travel section and bought workbooks for Japanese and Russian (the Russian one includes a CD that goes along with the lessons, but the Japanese doesn't).
I NEED MORE BOOKSHELVES.
*facepalm*

Um...school! Yeah! That! It's actually been going pretty well, and let me just say that AP US History is the best class I've ever had! I absolutely love it, and I've been doing a lot better than I thought I would, honestly. My teacher is just so awesome. He's such a history geek, and you can tell how much he loves it. He's so energetic about it. You can't NOT like him! (Also, on one of the first days he showed a clip from Dead Poets Society. Immediate win.) THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH TEACHERS LIKE HIM IN THE WORLD.

Also, I'm officially a part of ~stage crew~ for our school's one-act play. EPIC FREAKING WIN! It's so fun! Everybody's really friendly, and they're all really awesome actors. We had a rehearsal today, and we did a full run-through (minus makeup)...twas awesome. We're having another run-through on Friday, including makeup this time...and then on Saturday we have sectionals, OMFG! Exciting stuff!

Speaking of exciting stuff, um, I'M GOING TO SEE RENT NEXT WEEK?!
WITH ADAM PASCAL AND ANTHONY RAPP?!
OH MY FREAKING GOD?!
*DIES?!*
Yeah, I'm sort of taking as much money out of my bank account as possible (plus extra lunch money that I never used *sweatdrop*) for gift stands. Kahaha. Um...flalalalalala YES. I cannot wait. There are no coherent sentences that can possibly express my excitement! I don't even know what to say! Be prepared for a completely nonsensical entry about it when I get back. I'm going to see Adam and Anthony performiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing *flailailailail*

Aaaaand now it's nearly three in the morning and I'm going to go watch an episode of Sherlock Holmes (the Granada series) and go to bed. Maybe.
Have a good niiiiight~

Lists are fun, you know that?

Why half-price bookstores and comic stores are amazing (aka list of things I have recently gotten my hands on through them):
- Star Trek: The Motion Picture novelization
- Star Trek: The Search For Spock novelization
- Star Trek: The Voyage Home novelization
- Star Trek: Strangers From The Sky
- 30 issues of the 80s/90s DC Star Trek comics

- Heroes graphic novel volumes 1 and 2

- Mini Japanese dictionary
- Seven-language dictionary (French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Hebrew, Portuguese)
- "Living Language" complete basic Italian course

- Original Illustrated Sherlock Holmes (37 short stories, 1 full novel, with all the original illustrations)

*flail*

Also! Season premieres for House, Heroes, and The Big Bang Theory. Ich hab' sie gesehen und UWAAAAH how amazing! I simply cannot wait for more! :D I would ramble about each but I  want to keep this entry at a reasonable length, so...
Ah--speaking of premieres! I also watched the premiere of the new show FlashForward, and I am definitely planning on watching future episodes. The plot is unique and has great potential, it is already oozing with awesome exciting sci-fi-ness and, hey, JOHN CHO. No further explanation needed. I am also planning on trying to find the original book sometime--the show is actually based on a novel by Robert J. Sawyer. It should prove to be interesting.

That is about all I have to say~~ going to read some more Sherlock Holmes plz

*feels like spamming journal today, snickersnicker*
Well I had planned on posting last night, sorry. BUT I CAN'T NOT REPORT THIS.
I went ~*~*school supplies shopping*~*~, which is without a doubt the highlight of returning to school, and I decided to stop in the toy aisle because...well, why not. (I'd like to point out that Jared goes to the toy aisle every time he goes to Target, now. It's not just me!) Actually, Jared and I had just talked to each other earlier that day. Well, he had called me because he felt the need to gloat. He had just bought seasons four and five of House. I have four, but have yet to get five. I told him that he'd better watch out because I might just one-up him when I went to go school supplies shopping--with, say, a big nu!Spock action figure? None of us had managed to see one yet and, well, it would make me feel so superior after he got a mini!Spock. :D

SO I get to Target, get some school supplies from the office section, and on my way to the normal "back to school" area I happen to cross through the toy aisle!
There are a few people around so I quietly sneak into the aisle with the Star Trek toys (and I do mean quietly, because there was actually some woman looking at Star Wars toys in the same aisle), and...
SPOOOOCCCKKK!

Yes, the jumbo sparkly!text is completely necessary. That is the closest I can possibly get to my actual reaction. And I thought I had a big reaction when I found Troublesome Minds in Barnes and Noble--I yelped after I realized just how loud this squeal had been. So I grabbed Spock--not even bothering to check if there was a mini!Spock there! (That may be a good thing for my wallet anyway, haha) I will have to do that next time, fufufu--and tried to appear calm and not cling to it as I walked.

I was so intent on the fact that I finally got my Spock action figure (and trying to not look like I was about to start rolling on the floor and giggling hysterically, which I felt wasn't far from happening), I ENDED UP GOING IN CIRCLES FOR THREE LAPS AROUND PART OF THE STORE.
Yeah, I got lost in my own Target because of this. THAT'S how epic it was.

Oh yeah, and then I got the rest of my school supplies. And stuff.

PICTURES ARE MANDATORY

(By the way, this makes me the owner of two Vulcan salute hands, HECK YES)

aaand more )

So yes--that's all I've got. Just felt the need to share. :'D teehee
