((I always find it odd that I use this icon...though I don't drink coffee...))
Firstly, my journal failed to acknowledge two f-list birthdays that occurred...a very long time ago, omg.

cyandreams Cee and Cyan, I hope you had awesome birthdays and I'm sorry it took me so long for me to post XD But I didn't want to not say anything. Better late than never, I hope. *flail*
This week's Bleach episode...WAS INSANE. I'm going to need to make a separate entry to ramble fully. And I'm only talking about the last five minutes of the episode!
Next...GUYS, NANOWRIMO STARTS THIS SUNDAY. Ohhh my God. But hey, I actually sorta have a plot, kinda! For now, at least. Ah, this is gonna be great. *sweatdrop.*
Write or Die, here I come.
On a somewhat-related note, I just bought an
AlphaSmart off eBay! I can't wait to get it. I think that it will help my NaNo word count immensely, especially when I'm at school.
I had another bookstore shopping spree a couple weeks ago! Mainly, I completed my Sherlock Holmes collection! I now have all of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Holmes stories HEE~~. On the Star Trek front, I found the Wrath of Khan novelization, the novel The Price of The Phoenix, the Mere Anarchy stories (in one volume), and two volumes of the written versions of TOS episodes. I also found the Bleach book, SOULs, at a Waldenbooks store. YAY. At Barnes and Noble I got two books from the classics section: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (and other short stories), and a collection of Edgar Allan Poe poems and stories. Then I raided the language/travel section and bought workbooks for Japanese and Russian (the Russian one includes a CD that goes along with the lessons, but the Japanese doesn't).
I NEED MORE BOOKSHELVES.
*facepalm*
Um...school! Yeah! That! It's actually been going pretty well, and let me just say that AP US History is the best class I've ever had! I absolutely love it, and I've been doing a lot better than I thought I would, honestly. My teacher is just so awesome. He's such a history geek, and you can tell how much he loves it. He's so energetic about it. You can't NOT like him! (Also, on one of the first days he showed a clip from Dead Poets Society. Immediate win.) THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH TEACHERS LIKE HIM IN THE WORLD.
Also, I'm officially a part of ~stage crew~ for our school's one-act play. EPIC FREAKING WIN! It's so fun! Everybody's really friendly, and they're all really awesome actors. We had a rehearsal today, and we did a full run-through (minus makeup)...twas awesome. We're having another run-through on Friday, including makeup this time...and then on Saturday we have sectionals, OMFG! Exciting stuff!
Speaking of exciting stuff, um, I'M GOING TO SEE RENT NEXT WEEK?!
WITH ADAM PASCAL AND ANTHONY RAPP?!OH MY FREAKING GOD?!*DIES?!*Yeah, I'm sort of taking as much money out of my bank account as possible (plus extra lunch money that I never used *sweatdrop*) for gift stands. Kahaha. Um...flalalalalala YES. I cannot wait. There are no coherent sentences that can possibly express my excitement! I don't even know what to say! Be prepared for a completely nonsensical entry about it when I get back. I'm going to see Adam and Anthony performiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
ing *flailailailail*
Aaaaand now it's nearly three in the morning and I'm going to go watch an episode of Sherlock Holmes (the Granada series) and go to bed. Maybe.
Have a good niiiiight~
