Okay so my birthday was yesterday (I'm now 15!) and I had an awesome time~
(Also, it is now summer vacation 8D Wow, I haven't updated in a long time...)

( About my day and stuff~ )

ANYWAY HERE LOOKIT ALL I BOUGHT YESTERDAY~!:



-The shroom/pacman candies from the video store
-Two sketchbooks and a pad of comic strip boards--omfg, we finally found the right kind of paper! There was a full-sized version of it, too, but it cost twice as much so I had to settle for the strip-sized one. Though I'm not complaining. XD *still amazed that they had any*
-An adult-sized HAND MANNEQUIN! OH MY GOD! And it's a left hand, too, ksldjflksfl! *DREAM COME TRUE PLZ* ;u;
-From the comic store, a plushie of...YAGAMI-KUN? Totally didn't see that coming. I don't even like the guy all that much. BUT OMG THE PLUSHIE WAS SO CUTE I COULDN'T RESIST. XD Now he's gonna go right next to my Ishida plushie to keep him company~~
-A Captain Kirk bobblehead. He has three catchphrases: "Space, the final frontier", "This is Captain James Kirk of the USS Enterprise" and "I'm a soldier, not a diplomat" (or a doctor, or an escalator for that matter)! And he doesn't talk when you push a button or anything--it's when you bop his head. Imagine me trying to get him in and out of the packaging. XD And when he was on the table, my dad walked past and suddenly the bobblehead went "SPACE! THE FINAL FRONTIER" and completely freaked my dad out. It was hilarious.
-And omggg the Star Trek comic book: Countdown, which is a prequel to the 2009 movie. DUDE IT WAS SO GOOD. I love it. ;u; It was so full of win~

And um that's about all I have to say about that. I had an awesome birthday~♥ And um, for those of you who made it through this entry...uh...have some Pacman/shroom candies!

One of these things is not like the other! One of these things just doesn't belong~

Hey, everybody...how's it going out in the big, bright, beautiful internetworld? I've been pretty decent. Near-end-of-school madness going on over here, but that's to be expected, I suppose. Nothing that can't be tolerated.

I was planning on doing a huge rant about the Bleach anime/manga as of late, but...haha, my motivation seems to have tossed itself out the window. Though this entry does indeed have a purpose.

So I was playing the Bleach DS game, Dark Souls, yesterday and I had...a completely random pairing revelation. I don't even know how the thought came to me, but I suddenly thought of these two characters together and it seemed to fit in a really odd way. It's definitely not something that can be supported by canon action because...I don't think I've ever seen these two interact at all, but still. That's what crack pairings are for, yes?

To illustrate my point to a friend, I ended up drawing a little doodle of the pairing. Just a ten-minute OpenCanvas doodle, but still. I haven't posted much lately, so it's better than nothing, right? (I should start posting more things that I've drawn with my tablet...)

But anyway, here (sorry in advance for...sloppiness in general):

Hello my lovely, lovely LJ! It's been a long week!

Unfortunately, none of the Wisconsin teams made it to the finals at robotics. We did pretty good ourselves though, considering all the dying robots/penalties and stuff that we had on our alliances. XDD We were 4:3. It was pretty awesome. Georgia is absolutely beautiful! I took tons of pictures, and the team might be setting something up so we can access others' pictures that they took as well. I may post some...later. XD
Guess what I got while we were there?
First of all, we went to a Game Stop and I bought this "Japanese Coach" game to try out. So far it's been really easy, but hopefully in future levels it'll get tougher. XP If nothing else, it's pretty fun to play. (Random story: I was going to buy it when the guy at the check-out counter was like "Oh! I think we have a used version of this for less money! Lemme get that for ya! :D" and I felt so happy because it saved me money that I needed for food later. XD That was so nice!)

After we went there we went into an Apple store which was AMAZING...and guess what I found!
A WACOM TABLET
Yes, it's true. I'm now the proud owner of a little Bamboo tablet ;u; It's so adorable! (The check-out guy there was awesome too--when I pulled out my wallet he saw that it had Death Note on it, and we ended up having a huge conversation (luckily there wasn't anyone behind me) about the anime/manga and the movie adaptation and stuff. XD IT WAS SO GREAT)
So I ended up re-downloading OpenCanvas (version 1.1...I like it simple XDD)and I was drawing on it all day when I came home yesterday! I'll show you what I came up with...

Hey, everyone! Sorry for my extreme lack of entries...once again. XD; I have some more news! Our robotics team went to another regional last weekend...and not only did we win the rookie all-star award (again) and the creativity award, we also won the entire competition! It was really exhilarating! Appy and I also made a new mascot-friend with a girl from a neighboring team. XD So fun!
Also, happy late birthdays to Kira and Hanatarou! XD (I think Chad's birthday was a couple days ago, too...*random*) Congrats to everyone who entered sanbantaifuku's birthday competition! And thanks for everyone who voted for my entry; I got runner-up for the fanart section >w<;; which is honestly better than I expected!
It's spring break here now, though it's basically just a long weekend for me because on Monday I need to do community service for robotics and babysit after that...and on Tuesday, we're going off to Atlanta for the robotics championships! That'll be so exciting! I'll try to get on here and let you guys know how it goes :D

Wow!
Guys, these past couple weeks have been pretty eventful! Guess what?
MY ROBOTICS TEAM IS GOING TO NATIONALS!

It was so freaking awesome! When they called us out the judges started to do our cheer, and then the ENTIRE AUDIENCE joined in! They were all going crazy! Talk about insane flattery for us little rookies!! Lfjalskdfjlskfjflkjfl ;w;
Also, when I came home on Saturday night my brother and I decided to randomly go and get some movies. I got the second season of Bleach kehehehehehe, which I was surprised they had! I wonder if they're going to get the next season any time soon! ♥ I think I'll have the entire Soul Society arc, then.

The other DVD I got was--I can't believe they had this!--a filmed Broadway performance of RENT! Because RENT was taken off Broadway on September 7th, they taped a final performance and made it a DVD ♥♥♥♥♥ Which makes me so happy, because I'd never gotten a chance to see RENT onstage! I was squealing the entire time because I could finally see some of the stuff I'd learned about regarding the musicals. My mom sort of stared at me when I was yelping, "Oh my God! Lookit Mark's scarf! It's the blue-and-white version! And Roger has his plaid pants! OHMYGOD THE PLAID PANTS!! A-and Mimi's blue pants?! OHMYGOD! ALL THESE FRICKING PANTS!" A-and I thought I would hate the Mark just because he wasn't Anthony Rapp, but ohmygod, I loved him! He was so cute and innocent and I just wanted to huggle him the entire time! They even said he was the little one in the cast in the bonus features, and he had tons of pranks played on him XD BAAAAAAWWWW!! And...erm *catches self* Ranting, sorry. 8D;

Also...mah, I'm sick -.- Been coughing/wheezing/all that fun stuff for about a week now. I stayed home from school on Monday, but that's all because I'm getting close to the limit of how many days I can miss school, what with all that's been going on this year and everything. My mom told me that at this rate I'm gonna get pneumonia or something, which is just great because it brought up childhood memories of her saying: "Oh no you're coughing again?! You've gotta get all that stuff out of your lungs or else you'll get pneumonia and if you get that YOU'LL DIE!" *must be scarred for life or something from that XD* That's cause I've always had lung trouble. This time my mom said that if I don't cough enough she'll whip out the Nebulizer and make me use that...which is enough to get me to cough my lungs out for her. XD (A nebulizer is this thing I always had to use when I was little and had a cough; I'd have to sit for half-hour periods and just inhale the medicine in the form of this mist-like stuff the whole time. It wasn't very fun. XD)

Well I don't have much more to say~ I may post my entry for sanbantaifuku 's Birthday Competition...gotta scan/upload/convince myself to enter XD Ah...wish me luck

Hello~!
First, the concert was amazing. The lights were awesome (and flames shot up from the stage!) and I must say that you haven't really lived until you've seen an entire stadium doing a collective headbang. I thought they were only gonna play songs from Death Magnetic (their new album) but they played a few oldies too. That made me really happy. Everyone was singing along. X3 Which gave me a super warm fuzzy feeling for some reason. I also got a T-shirt. My brother and I ate before the concert started and these people a couple years or so older than me came parading up the escalator screaming, WOOOing, etc. Jared said to me matter-of-factly, "Cool kids." The Cool Kids were rather disruptive. One of the people who I was pretty sure was a girl randomly yelled out, "I like PUSSY!" They ended up sitting in the row under us during the concert (our seats were so awesome, by the by--yay for Jared being a part of a Metallica fan club and being able to buy tickets before anyone else!). Jared and me debated over whether Cool Kid Who Likes PUSSY was a girl or a boy. We never figured it out. The band members talked more than I thought they would, which made me feel happy. I laughed when the vocalist said, "Milwaukee, YOU - KICK - AAAAAAAAASSSSS!!" They also commented on how they wanted to perform here more than "once every four and a half fuckin' years" which I agreed with. I was actually at that concert four and a half years ago! Which makes me feel, I don't know, "in the loop" I suppose. All in all, it was great.

I hope that I can update more often so I don't end up doing a couple giant entries that are murder to read. XD Especially since the concert was almost two weeks ago. Daaahh. I'll get better, I promise. But for now, I must talk about...
